Continuity sequence...

Continuity sequence...

In this task, we were given different scenes and shots to include in our short video. The shots we were given to use were the reverse shot, match-on-action shot and the scene had to include a conversation across a table and somebody walking across the room. our short clip was based on two people, a man   a woman, speed dating. the male character in this clip, is very flamboyant, loud, and almost arrogant. Due to his behaviour, his awaiting partner is not impressed and leaves him during their date.
To show the conversation between the characters, we used the shot-reverse-shot and also used the over-the-shoulder shot to show change in the two different characters speaking. As we had to include the shot-reverse-shot, we thought we could use it most effectively at the start of our clip when the male character is about to enter the room, this can be found from 00:20-00:32 seconds into our clip, where it showed both sides of he door, the woman waiting, to the man entering the room from the outside, back inside the room where we can then see both characters in the same shot.
